Number Three School awarded February's Staff Member of the Month! A Golden Apple is given to the winning staff member at the end of the month after votes are tallied that have been cast by their colleagues. This month our winner of the Golden Apple is our school counselor Genesis Garcia! Ms. Garcia attended Fairview Public Schools and has come back to help the students of Fairview! Ms. Garcia has been here at Number Three School for the past 2 years. Her smile lights up a room and she is always willing to help out students and staff without hesitation. Jo Ann Breitweiser Named February's "Golden Apple Winner"!!! Ms. Jo Ann is a longtime aide for the Fairview School District. She has worked with PreK - Grade 2 students as a classroom aide and a mixture of older students as a bus aide. She has a fantastic rapport with students and staff alike. She is a team player and goes above and beyond the call of duty. Ms. Jo Ann enjoys making banners and bulletin boards to celebrate school events. She has a special knack for making people feel special. Our Number Three School Annex Community would be missing it's spark without Ms. Jo Ann!!!

Joann Cloonan is Our "Golden Apple" Winner for January!!! Ms. Joann, as we all call her, has worked for the Fairview School District for many years as a lunchroom supervisor/aide. We were so happy when she joined the Number Three School Annex family several years ago. She calls her kitchen Joann's Cafe'. She not only serves breakfast and lunch to our students. Ms. Joann houses/serves all our staff luncheons/parties. The lunchroom is a positive environment for all where everyone is met with Ms. Joann's ready smile, sense of humor and nuturing personality. Ms. Joann goes above and beyond the call of duty. Everyone loves Ms. Joann!!!

The Fairview Tigers Boys basketball team secured a hard-fought victory over their longtime rivals, the Cliffside Park Raiders, with a final score of 32-26. This win was especially sweet, as the Raiders have always been a tough competitor and a major source of school pride for both teams. For Fairview students, the rivalry is intense, as it’s one of the last opportunities to face off before the two schools come together in high school. The Tigers played with heart and determination, showing that their teamwork and focus could overcome any challenge. This victory is one the team can be incredibly proud of, and it’s sure to be remembered as a highlight of the season. The Fairview Tigers Boys Basketball team picked up their second victory of the season in dominating fashion, defeating Weehawken with an impressive score of 64-29. The Tigers showcased their strength and skill throughout the game, proving they’re a force to be reckoned with. After the game, three players stood proudly on their home court, beaming with pride and celebrating the well-earned win. It was a game that highlighted their teamwork and determination, and it’s clear the Tigers are continuing to build momentum as the season progresses.
