Congratulations to Vanessa Basile, December's Golden Apple Winner at #3 Annex!
A dedicated teacher in our district for the past 12 years and a mentor teacher for the last five, Vanessa exemplifies excellence in education and community building. This year she started a new journey, joining the Special Education Department and is doing a wonderful job! She comes to school daily with a passion for helping her students learn and grow in a nurturing and supportive environment. Beyond the classroom, she fosters a sense of togetherness throughout our school by organizing monthly themed days as well as numerous events that bring joy and connection to our building. We are grateful for her tireless efforts and her positive impact on everyone around her!

Number Three School has awarded December's Staff Member of the Month! This month our winner of the Golden Apple is Mrs. Jennifer Acquaviva. Jennifer has been part of Fairview Public Schools for 14 years and here at Number Three School for the past 5 years. She also attended Number Three School as a student! Mrs. Acquaviva has worked as kindergarten, first grade and fourth grade teacher. She is an asset to our school and is always willing to help both students and staff. Mrs. Acquaviva has a big heart and always puts the best interest of her students first. Her sense of humor, patience and passion for teaching brings joy to our students and staff every day! Congratulations Mrs. Acquaviva for receiving this honor during the month of giving!

Our Pre-k Holiday Event was a Joyful Celebration filled with music and smiles! The Children proudly sang festive songs, spreading holiday cheer throughout the room, while families gathered to watch and share in this special moment. It was a heartwarming experience that truly captured the spirit of the season!

We are Proud to recognize our December Employee of the Month for Lincoln School Annex, Mrs. Paula Purcell. A truly exceptional secretary who has dedicated 47 years of Outstanding service to our district! Her commitment, professionalism, and knowledge are unmatched, and she consistently serves as a trusted resource for staff, administrators and families. Throughout her years she has exemplified reliability, and genuine care for the school community. Her positive attitude, strong work ethic and her willingness to go above and beyond make a lasting impact every day. Lincoln School Annex and the entire district are grateful for her continued dedication.

Teachers brought creativity and holiday spirit to life by decorating their classroom doors for our December door-decorating contest, spreading cheer throughout the school. 🎄 Congratulations to Ms. Sophia Ferriero for being selected as the Winner of the contest!🎅🏻🎄🎅🏻

Our second graders went on a magical field trip to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center where they watched The Three Billy Goats Gruff and Other Tales spring to life on stage. The children were so excited as beloved fairy tales unfolded with vibrant costumes, lively music, and whimsical adventures right before their eyes!

Our students soared with joy at the magical Balloons Over Cliff Street parade! The air buzzed with pure excitement and boundless creativity as colorful balloons danced above us. And what a thrill—our very special guest straight from the North Pole dropped in to sprinkle some holiday cheer and whisper that the season of wonder is officially underway! Wishing you a Thanksgiving filled with gratitude and laughter from all of us at Number Three School. 🦃🎈

Her commitment to supporting both students and teachers makes a tremendous impact on our school community! This November, the Golden Apple shines brightest for Mrs. Robin May! With six dedicated years in Number Three School as a 4th grade teacher and 7 years of service in our district, Mrs. May has been such an important part of our staff. Beyond the classroom, she's poured her passion into coaching our Fairview Tigers softball team encouraging teamwork, resilience, and joy in every game.

Mrs. May's big heart and generosity knows no bounds. She's always the first to lend a hand to her co-workers with no questions asked. With her patience and warm, calm, caring demeanor, she creates an environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and inspired.

Dominic Rae wins the "Golden Apple" for November! Mr. Dominic has been doing security for the Fairview School District since September of 2020. He joined the Number Three School Annex community in September of 2022 and has been keeping us safe ever since! Mr. Dominic has a dynamic personality and a great sense of humor. He is kind and compassionate with the young students and greets visitors with a ready smile. When it is time to be serious he knows and displays that balance. He can be fierce when he is in protection mode. Number Three School Annex would not be the same without Mr. Dominic!

Hands on learning at its best! Mrs. Cirkinyan's Kindergarten math lesson was full of movement, teamwork, and big smiles! They created a human ten frame to explore numbers and make math come alive! Learning is so much more fun when you can step into math!

Jennifer Cennerazzo is Our Next "Golden Apple" Winner!!! Ms. Cennerazzo is new to the Fairview School District this year. She is a welcome addition to the Number Three School Annex staff as our guidance counselor. Her outgoing dynamic personality brightens the halls and many rooms of the school. Ms. Cennerazzo is compassionate and empathetic towards others. She is always willing the lend a helping hand. She has planned many activities to maintain a positive school climate. The kids all love Ms. C....the staff does too!

As a Transitional Kindergarten Teacher, Ms. Camacho brings patience, creativity, and compassion to every moment of the day!
